Just a random dandelion in the yard.  I was testing out my new lens, Canon's EF 50mm f/1.8 II.  I got it for $80 (it's normally $90) from Calumet Photo and it is definitely worth it.

Some pansies at the Fair.  I used the oilify filter in the GIMP to get the painted effect.

These are some decorative egg shells at the State Fair last year.  They are covered in wax and dyed to create the patterns.
