This is Ethan on Christmas morning. Emma and him were opening their last present (a Wii) when I took this.

This is an old key that's on the keystone above the fireplace at my parents' house.

First snow of the season, just outside our new apartment.  These are some bird footprints on the sidewalk.

Some of the fireworks from the NC State Fair.

This is a spider on the side of an old, rusty barn.

A pink rose at the State Fair.  The background in this photo was mostly green and white, so it looks like this after simply desaturating all the colors except for red and magenta.

In the Gimp, this is done by going to Colors -> Hue/Saturation, selecting the individual colors and moving the saturation scale to zero.

More nebula-esque fireworks.

This is just a random photo of fireworks at the State Fair, but it looks strangely similar to a nebula.  There is another similar photo I will post tomorrow.

This is a big, spiked leaf at the State Fair.  I have no idea what plant it is from, but it looks neat.  This was at night and the leaf was lit from below.
